Trever grew up on a mixed farm near Virden, Manitoba. After working out for a few years, he returned to college and obtained his Agribusiness diploma from Assinboine Community College in Brandon. Previously Trever was an Agronomist with a local Co-op before moving into the Precision Farming field with a local Case-Ih dealership in Moosomin, Saskatchewan. Trever continues to cattle farm with a mixed commercial herd of 60 cows.

Trever and his wife Terri live on their farm west of Elkhorn Manitoba with their four children. Mikayla 10, Brady 9, Shaylee 5, and Avery 3 all keep Trever and Terri busy with their various activities. In his spare time Trever enjoys Rec. hockey, Slo-Pitch and volunteering on the local community pasture board.
