Agri-Trend Agrology Welcomes Dean York as new Agri-Coach
Written by Candice Nadeau Wednesday, 02 September 2009Dean York is filling two roles in Saskatchewan as both Agri-Trend™ Agri-Coach and Agri-Trend™ Marketing Coach based out of his office in Saskatoon working with clients in Central and Northeast Saskatchewan.
Dean grew up on a dairy and grain farm north of Tisdale, SK. He and his wife, Jackie, have 4 kids. Dean began his career in both the grain sector and crop input business with Cargill in 1987. Working within and managing several locations in NE Saskatchewan he was asked by board members of the Northeast Terminal in Wadena to come aboard as Assistant General Manager for the start-up of that business, a joint-venture with Cargill. After a move taking him back close to home in Tisdale, he was asked to begin a retail venture for a major Specialty Crops processor where he also managed an oilseed program.
Dean bring to Agri-Trend™ strong analytical, negotiating and problem solving skills along with a very unique skill-set from his broad experience with the businesses he has helped to build. His love for agriculture and for helping farmers achieve their goals is welcome to the Agri-Trend™ network.
As the first Agri-Trend™ Agri-Coach and Marketing Coach, Dean provides local clients with strategic information that will aid them in making well informed, effective decisions.
