Agri-Trend Agrology Welcomes Dr. Geza Racz P.Ag, B.S.A., as Senior Agri-Coach

Dr. Geza Racz brings over 40 years of experience to Agri-Trend Agrology Ltd. He was born in Saskatchewan and grew up on a mixed farm. Dr. Racz obtained a B.S.A. degree in 1959 with a major in soil science and a M. Sc. Degree in 1961 in soil chemistry and fertility at the University of Saskatchewan. He joined the department of Soil Sciences, University of Manitoba as a research assistant in 1961 to study the fertility requirements of special crops and initiated Ph. D. studies shortly thereafter at the University of Manitoba completing a PhD degree in 1966 in soil chemistry.
Dr. Racz’ research centers on the fate and bioavailability of heavy metals in biosolids and other soil amendments along with determining the composition of animal manures and sustainable management and land application of animal manures. His findings are published in scientific journals as well as in conference proceedings and extension articles.
Dr. Racz is pleased to join Agri-Trend Agrology Ltd. To provide expertise in soil fertility and chemistry and management of animal manures and sewage biosolids in various cropping systems.
