Agri-Trend Agrology Welcomes Markus Braaten, B.S., CCA, as a New Agri-Coach
Written by Administrator Thursday, 18 September 2008Markus Braaten graduated from Montana State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Agriculture Education and Biology in 1998. He spent six years as an instructor of Agriculture Science concentrating in the areas of Ag Business & Economics, Horticulture, Crop & Livestock Production, Equine Science and Precision Agriculture.
Markus returned with his wife and children to Kalispell, their hometown, in 2000 where he continued teaching prior to starting their consulting business. Currently, he works with farmers, ranchers and landowners, large and small, in Western Montana as an Agri-Coach™ and Certified Crop Advisor™.
Markus can play an integral role in the adoption of cutting edge technology for his clients and has instructed multiple classes on the implementation of GPS, GIS and Remote Sensing in an agricultural setting. He also assists his father on a registered Black Angus operation and is instrumental in livestock selection and the A.I. program. Markus’s enthusiasm, ongoing effort to stay at the forefront of the agricultural industry and desire to work closely with agricultural producers, makes him a valuable partner in any operation.
