Mike grew up in the town of Morinville, AB which is just north of Edmonton. He followed his father around from a very young age while he was territory manager for a chemical company for 26 years.

After high school Mike fulfilled his dream of becoming an agronomist by attending Olds College in the Crop Advisor Program. Since achieving his diploma, Mike has worked in many different areas broadening his work experience which has included the Alberta Pulse Growers doing test plots in Barrhead, AB, Bayer CropScience in chemical screening in Innisfail, AB, Norwest Labs as a soil processor in Edmonton, AB, as well as Agricore United in Vegreville, AB as a crop scout. Mike has recently spent the last 3 years with McEwen’s Esso in Morinville, AB as an agronomist.

For past times, Mike can be found in many arenas ranging all over northern Alberta chasing his (soon to be) brother in-laws who play Junior and Midget AA hockey in Morinville. He also enjoys sport quading on his 660 raptor and fixing up his 1975 Ford f-100 pick up.

Through McEwen’s Mike is looking forward to becoming a new member to the Agri-Coach community. He is looking forward to sharing his knowledge and utilizing the many years of experience in the Sr. Agri-Coach™  and the Agri-Coach™  networks. Thanks to McEwen’s for the opportunity and thanks to Agri-Trend for having such a program to furthering knowledge to retailers’ and, more importantly, to furthering knowledge in the farmers’ constantly changing business. Mike’s desire is to be able to use this knowledge to assist existing customers of McEwen’s and also new customers that may come in the future.
