Agri-Trend Agrology Welcomes Chris Solick, B. Sc., as a Agri-Coach
Written by Administrator Thursday, 18 September 2008Chris grew up on a family farm in Central Alberta in the Lacombe area and after working abroad for 3 years has returned home, bringing a greater knowledge of global agriculture back to his Agri-Coaching™ business. He graduated from the University of Alberta in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture degree. After university, Chris worked for United Grain Growers in Calmar AB looking after the crop inputs department. He then moved on to working with Agri-Trend Agrology™ for several years, where he was involved in the early development of the Strategic Crop Plan™ and Agri-Coach Program™ as well as providing consulting services for growers and helping other Agri-Coaches™. Chris has spent time traveling. He lived in Costa Rica for two years where he worked with growers and corporations on a wide variety of fruit and vegetable crops. Following that, he spent a year in Australia; part of the time working for Bayer CropScience in production of parent seed for Canadian canola seed production. Chris has also traveled extensively throughout Central and South America as well as New Zealand.
