AGRI-TREND® Agrology is pleased to welcome: Chris Hartung as AGRI-TREND® Agri-Coach® based in Lethbridge, AB to our growing network!

Chris was raised on his family farm east of Vulcan, AB where they run a mixed operation that work with 3500 dry land acres and run 110 cow/calf pairs. This is where his passion for farming came to be. Following his interests, Chris decided to attend Lethbridge College where he received a diploma in Plant and Soil Sciences. He then decided to pursue a higher education and attended the University of Lethbridge where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 2014. Throughout his university career, Chris found himself employed at Hamman Ag Research where he has been employed for the last three summers working with over a dozen crops and a wide array of crop inputs. His love for agrology and learning grew each year from seeding to spraying and scouting to harvesting various research trials under the helpful watch of Dr. Bill Hamman. His experience with a senior coach has led Chris to looking into AGRI-TREND and its progressive possibilities. As an Agri-Coach, Chris is eager to work with his family farm and other in the Lethbridge/Vulcan area to better their understanding of this fast moving industry. With the tools that the AGRI-TREND network offers to its coaches, and the cutting edge of the Agri-Data Solution software, he feels confident working alongside farmers to learn and solve issues to move their operations forward.

AGRI-TREND® USA is pleased to welcome Susan Hodges, as Geo-Coach to our growing network!

I grew up on a farm in the rolling hills of Eastern Washington. My family has been farming here for over 100 years, growing wheat, barley, peas and lentils. In high school, I was very involved in FFA, earning my District Star Farmer and American Degree. During college, our Ag Technology club and Fastpitch softball team took up most of my time. My family's farm is very important to me and I enjoy spending time helping Mom and Dad out during busy times. Flying and trapshooting are hobbies I enjoy with friends and family. Obtaining my Private Pilot License is my next personal goal. Since college I have worked for two farms that are very progressive. Work done for them eventually lead to a passion in precision application and data management. Becoming a Geo-Coach will allow me to focus strictly on the precision side of agriculture. I am excited to join the network of coaches that have an abundance of knowledge all over the continent. I will stay in the Eastern Washington area, but I am excited to travel wherever I am needed.

AGRI-TREND® USA is pleased to welcome Amy Gardner, as Agri-Coach to our growing network!

My name is Amy Gardner. I grew up in the Flathead Valley and was involved in agriculture from the day I was born. My parents own the local meat processing business and we raised our own animals and grew various crops in my grandpa's field. I graduated from Montana State University with a BSc in Agricultural Education and was fortunate enough to have many travel opportunities through FFA to experience agriculture across our country and abroad. After college, my husband and I moved back to the Flathead Valley to raise our family. We have three young boys and are enjoying teaching them how to work hard to grow/raise their own food. I am very passionate about agriculture and look forward to working as an Agri-Coach to assist our local growers in producing high quality and high yielding crops.
