AGRI-TREND® Agrology USA is pleased to welcome: Lindsey Cope as AGRI-TREND® Junior Agri-Coach® based in Craigmont, ID to our growing network!

I grew up as the fourth generation on my family’s farm in Southeastern Idaho. My great-grandparents homesteaded in Monteview, Idaho in 1923 and my family has farmed there ever since. We grow irrigated alfalfa and malt barley. I have always been involved in the farm operations and enjoy working outdoors, in the shop, and operating equipment. As a result I have developed a lifelong passion for agriculture. I was involved in the local 4-H program raising market lambs and played volleyball, basketball, and fast pitch softball during high school. I attended college at Montana State University in Bozeman where I continued to play softball and was a part of the Collegiate Cattlewomen. I received a Bachelor’s of Plant Science with an emphasis in Crop Science. I became familiar with the company and its personalized services when my family’s farm began working with an AGRI-TREND coach. I am excited to join AGRI-TREND and bring farmers sound advice based on experience in the field, the latest data, and the knowledge of the AGRI-TREND network. This is an exciting and important time to be in the agriculture industry and I am excited to be a member of the AGRI-TREND team. I plan to focus my efforts on the Camas Prairie of North Central Idaho assisting Tom Gehring as part of the AGRI-TREND mentorship program.

AGRI-TREND Agrology is pleased to welcome new Agri-Coach, Cody Northam, based out of Cut Knife, SK to our growing Network!

My name is Cody Northam and I was raised on a mixed farm north of Rapid City, Manitoba. I grew up farming with my dad and grandfather. We currently farm around 2000 acres and run about 140 head of cattle. I was involved in 4-11 where I learned about motors and welding. Out of high school I took a job with Paddock Drilling Ltd where I was involved in drilling environmental and geo-technical wells. I worked at Paddock Drilling for two years when I decided to go to University. I will be graduating from the University of Saskatchewan in the spring of 2014 with a major in agricultural business and a minor in entrepreneurship and field crop management. I have been involved with the family farm throughout my time at university and last summer I worked for Viterra. I heard about AGRI-TREND through a friend at University and the more I looked into the company the more interested I became. I like the idea of having a large network of well-educated people that you can ask questions to. I like that there is no direct ties to any one chemical company; this allows me to do what is best for the farmer with no bias. AGRI-TREND is a good it for me because my goal is to make the farmer more money be becoming more efficient. With my farming background and the knowledge that I have gained through both my previous jobs and university experiences I think that AGRI-TREND and I have the same values. I will be working in the Unity and Cut Knife when I am done University.
