Agri-Images
Agri-Trend can provide access to satellite and aerial imagery for an overhead view of your field.
Vegetative indices such as NDVI can be used for the generation of management zones for ground-truthing, sampling, and application. Other Agri-Images can include ordinary aerial photographs, soil zone maps, EC maps, digital elevation maps, or field derived vegetative maps through technologies such as GreenSeeker.
Real-Shot™ Imagery
Real-Shot™ imagery provided through Agri-Trend Agrology offers farm clients a "real shot" of what exactly is going on in their fields within the season and from season to season. Covering many areas of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, Real-Shot™ Imagery will offer leading edge remote sensed imagery for use in the agriculture and environmental industries. The Real-Shot™ Imagery package includes geo-referenced, 1 meter resolution geo-tiff images in natural color, false-color infrared, NDVI, and 4-Band. Advantages of Real-Shot™ include aerial capture below cloud cover, capture dates that give you more control, and in-season decision making support tools. The geo-referenced image capture and processing allows for import into controllers and the ground-truthing ability that is key to understanding the in-field variability. Ground-truthing the images in the field can show variability caused by the management of compaction, drainage, drought, topography, residue, manure, summer fallow, herbicide, nutrients, mechanical errors, or hail. The near-infrared wavelength capture gives the ability of the user to see into the inner cell structure of the plant and easily separate soil and water from plant material.
